Overview
The Company has exploration projects in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. The projects in the Kimberley region of Western Australia were acquired during 2004 through the acquisition of East Kimberley Diamond Corporation (“EKDC")
Astro Diamond Mines NL has a portfolio of highly prospective tenements in northern Australia and is well positioned for a significant diamond and or gold discovery in one or more of the following regions.
Last year the Company announced that it had entered into a heads of agreement with a number of parties to acquire a 100% interest in several diamond projects in the Kimberley area of northern Western Australia.
The Company believes that its exploration activities in Australia will result in the discovery of diamonds and or gold and the generation of substantial cash flow from the development of economic deposits.
